Lunch for Prince Charming |
I spent the morning reading the newspaper, doing laundry, and cleaning the chicken coop. In the afternoon I knit a little, baked tollhouse pan cookies, walked the dogs and took Luke to the playground. I'm also working on making a daily discipline of praying the Hours and the rosary. My husband spent the day re-organizing the garage for winter. It was cold out there, so I brought a hot lunch out to him.
In the last week I have seen a big flock of wild turkeys in my neighborhood and this magnificent rainbow.
Oh, that beautiful rainbow! Don't ever say your camera doesn't do it! Wow.
ReplyDeleteI'm also trying to say the rosary more.
I think I would love a bit out of that meal :) We've had frost quite a bit and it's nice to know the fall allergies are near the end.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Lisa: amazing rainbow! And what a sweet wife you are! A flower on the lunch tray and everything... :-)
ReplyDeleteEven though I don't have much to say in the comments, I still read your blog all the time. It makes me happy. :) Especially posts like these (with pictures)!
ReplyDeleteLunch looks delish! That Halloween pot is just charming.
ReplyDeleteI remember, as a child, my grandmother praying her rosary every morning. I knew it was a sacred ritual even then, at that young age.
