To continue into the future.

Thank you for telling me what "kith and kin" means. The "kin" part is easy, but never knew the "kith" meant one's geography.

I still want to learn more, about "years ago," on the land on which we now live.

Happy to have come across your blog!

A 'Nana' in the upper NE of the US

wisps of wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12995057494013633705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-309219679174291412.post-80797852083385890682018-05-25T13:21:18.628-07:002018-05-25T13:21:18.628-07:00Hi! Our winter was so long I wondered if spring would ever come. Then when it did, it lasted for only one breathtaking heartbeat, and now summer is upon us, lush and green and hot.

Wishing you cosy winter days.♥ Stay warm! There are some places that feel almost like family to me, I am so attached to them, they are a part of me in a way. I think the idea of kith used to be more related to the word kin. People, the land and its stories would all be entwined. I’ve heard about a lot of mass animal deaths recently. I don’t know what is at the root of such phenomena, pollution perhaps? Perhaps there is an even deeper cause. Looking forward to reading more posts! We had one nice day only to have it taken away. The snow flakes were fat yesterday but thankfully they melted. Technology creates new communities but the face to face interactions are missing and what humans need (I think). I try to manage how much time I spend on line and then seek out the people. Going to the gym gives me lots of people interactions which is nice.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252685705241032079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-309219679174291412.post-78199933689254602512018-04-17T17:16:08.806-07:002018-04-17T17:16:08.806-07:00Your knitting, the tulips, the cats - it's all...Your knitting, the tulips, the cats - it's all so very cozy! I'll admit that I look forward to making new stories with my favorite places in the years to come. I made a banana cream pie last week, too! Your bread looks lovely and those cats, so sweet. Spring comes in fits and starts here, with a chance of snow tonight. Brandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07420563302312784306noreply@blogger.com
